Wrong Side of the Art -
NOTE: One of my main sources of low-budget and cult movie posters, artwork, scans and images.
This is the place I post B-movie posters. One sheets, half sheets, daybills, locandines,
quads whatever I find. Also some random movie stills. The resolution is usually good, but not
perfect. Which means the quality is okay for an A4 quickie for your cubicle, but certainly not
enough to reproduce the original poster. |
| |
IMP Awards -
NOTE: Another one of my main sources of poster artwork, scans and images. Internet
Movie Poster (IMP) Awards - Featuring one of the largest collections of movie poster images on the
web. |
| |
Heritage Auctions -
NOTE: If they have auctioned it, this is THE best image source for high resolution vintage movie
posters. I highly recommend using this site for getting those hard-to-find, rare, very rare,
and ultra-rare posters (and other collectibles). They are both a reputable auction house and a historical
database for movie posters |

| |
Arrow In The Head - Balls to the wall reviews along with tons of info. I liked the old site banner better, though. Highly recommended site. |
| |
Astounding B Monster, The - Another site with great eye candy. Navigation is very confusing but you can click on anything and get some great articles. Good site on content alone. |
| |
Atrocities Cinema - Another one of those sites with little to no eye candy. Very well written reviews though. Good site. |
| |
Bad Cinema Diary - From classic to independent to obscure, it's all here. Lots of reviews that are short and to the point. Amatuerish layout but quantity is king here. Good site. |
| |

Bleeding Skull - With an eye on functional design and both feet in the gutter, Bleeding Skull is dedicated to exploring the bizarre and obscure in vintage low budget cinema from the 1950s to the 1980s. Bags of hot air must be checked at the door. |
| |
Bloody-Disgusting - Bloody good site chock full of horror goodness and goodies. Check it out. |
| |
Brian's Drive-In Theater - A very good site that pays tribute to many unsung B movie actors and actresses from the 1930s through the 1980s. Great info on these classic horror stars. Good site for info. |
| |
British Horror Films - Chris is a journalist by day and a movie reviewer by night, and it shows. Humorous reviews that are well written. Great site for info on the classic British horror scene. No rubbish here. |
| |
Buried.com - Site with a large number of reviews. A little amateurish with the writing but gets their opinions across. Real busy reviewers, though. |
| |
Canuxploitation - Since 1999, Canuxploitation.com has been navigating the murky world of Canadian " exploitation" cinema. Shamelessly delving into the best and worst of every neglected, forgotten genre of Canuck film, this site investigates and reclaims Canada's lost B-movie tradition with style and humour. This site is for you if you are a Canadian who is interested in exploring the offbeat side of our national cinema, or if you aren't Canadian, and are wondering if all of our films are like The Red Violin. They aren't.

Cinema Suicide - Cinema Suicide began as most movie blogs do. One man, his many opinions and an ability to write that is questionable at best. Since then, movie reviews made room for the latest news in horror, exploitation and cult movies and soon after, new writers came on board to join the fun. What you can expect to find is everything you could possibly want to know from DVD releases and reviews to trivia about movies you may or may not be familiar with. At the bottom line, Cinema Suicide aims to reach beyond the shallow interactions of your typical blog and create a community that can come together around a concept that we all have in common: A love of really crappy movies. |

Shadow's B-Movie Graveyard - Welcome to my movie graveyard! A place where I can dig up films that belong in categories best described as old, cheap, classic, cheezy and even pretty bad; and then visit them once again through the modern miracle that is DVD. Occasionally, films that may be considered "new" will be unearthed here, but for the most part I like the classics. And just who am I? I am Shadow, the guy who haunts the place and the caretaker of these cinematic treasures from ages past. I’m also a guy who has never really grown up. So grab a bag of popcorn and join me... |

Video Underbelly - What kind of films is this site about? You'd think it'd be easy answer, but it actually isn't: whilst we could say horror, sleaze, exploitation, psychotronic, or bad, they're too narrowly focused and paint the site into a corner. The easiest, but least gratifying, answer is: look around. If you like, or are interested in, the type of films you see, it stands to reason that anything else you like, we'll probably like too. This may not always be true (Morbus Iff is watching every Criterion Collection DVD, but knows that not all of them "belong" here), but we suspect you'll be able to grasp what's right and what's not. |
